A special thank you and appreciation to our Man Of God, Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome Dsc Dsc DD, our Regional Pastor, Pastor Ose Oyakhilome, and our Zonal Pastor, Pastor Lawrence for their leadership, guidance, and steadfast support in the vision of our Ministry.
We have finished.
The Builder's Project is a faith-driven initiative dedicated to acquiring a dedicated place of worship for our church. This project is rooted in our belief that having a sanctified space for worship is essential for spiritual growth and faith building.
Our mission is to create a sanctuary where we can come together to worship God, following the biblical mandate to not forsake the gathering of the saints (Hebrews 10:25). This space will serve as a hub for spiritual activities, community outreach, and strategic planning for our mission to impact the world.
The Builder's Project is the extension of the vision of our man of God Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome Dsc Dsc DD.
Our vision is to take God's divine presence to the people and nations of the earth and to demonstrate the character of the Spirit. Our mission is to raise generations of men and women who will come into their inheritance to fulfill God's dream.
1 Chronicles 22:6: "Then he called for his son Solomon and charged him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel."
This verse highlights the divine mandate to build a house for God, as David instructed his son Solomon. By sponsoring the Builder's Day, you are participating in this sacred task, following the biblical example of dedicating a place for the worship of the LORD. Just as Solomon was charged with building the temple, your support in building God's house ensures a dedicated space for His presence, worship, and growth of the body of Christ.
Hebrews 10:25
“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
The Bible emphasizes the importance of communal worship and fellowship. A dedicated place of worship provides a consistent and consecrated environment for us to gather, encourage one another, and grow in our faith. By building a house for God, we are facilitating a space where the church can come together regularly, strengthening our bonds and faith as we await the Lord's return.
Excepts from Our Regional Pastor, Pastor Ose Oyakhilome During our 3rd Edition of our Builders Day
2 Samuel 7:1, Psalm 26:8
The house of the Lord is where His honor dwells. This place (referring to the church) is where God's presence is established, and from this place, He will raise men and women of honor.
This is a season to give happily and cheerfully. Inspired by the grace received at the last Communion Service, we are called to give generously. As a united body, one of us will contribute significantly ( R1 million) towards the work.
2 Chronicles 7:11-12
Solomon finished the house of the Lord and God’s glory filled it. Just as Solomon finished, so will we! This is not just about reaching the end; it’s about finishing with excellence, with prosperity, and with God’s blessing. The Lord will appear to us in greater glory as we complete this work. Press on, set your heart to finish, and you will see the manifestation of His power.
2 Chronicles 7:11-12
Just as Solomon completed the work of building the temple, we too are determined to finish the work of building God's house. The South Group will finish strong, with God's help and grace.
Haggai 2:9-12
The building of the South Church is just the beginning. This place (106 Harry Street, Robertsham) is not just a building; it is a house of sacrifice, a place of miracles, and a ground for answered prayers. Every prayer prayed here will get God's attention.
Haggai 2:7-9
The shaking happening now is producing results. We are encouraged to set our hearts on completing the work we have begun. The Lord will bless us, and our testimonies will continue.
